If I go into controls in War Thunder, the closest HOTAS to mine is the x55 and that doesnt work right. Youll see an option to set up Air or Ground. Ive been trying to setup the X56 and have downloaded a profile for the x56 in War Thunder but cant seem to get it to work right. nah, gaijin just doesn't care about sim, barely any of their target whales play it. Second: Proceed through the setup Wizard for your joystick. instead because Gaijin break everything, the Spitfires are almost completely avoided in Sim in my experiences so far. we can't have the Spitfire running riot in Sim battles. If your stick is not on the list its all. I have been using the cougar set up, but not all the buttons are bound, and the controls are very sensitive. They have the Cougar, and Hota, Hota X, and others, but the USB as named by the company, is not on the list. Yeah the whole wobble thing seems to be Gaijins way of balancing aircraft. Granted, I had to change button layouts on some of those games, but I could fly perfectly fine otherwise here in War Thunder, the default flight settings are practically unplayable, wobbling everywhere for no reason at all. ![]() In every other flight combat game I've played, from World of Warplanes to IL-2 Sturmovik, and Elite Dangerous and even DCS World, the default flight axis settings were more than sufficient. You should always make copies of your control set ups as it makes it 1,000x easier than having to rebind everything constantly if you want to go back to a previous control set up. You'll need to manually set it all up (the annoying part).įirst: Export a copy of your current control settings and save it on your Desktop (or place of your choosing). It's very simple, but also very annoying. ![]()
